Each year, on a date in September, students at CMJHS are encouraged to wear orange in solidarity with our First Nations members to recognize and remember the impact of residential schools.
Each year, students at CMJHS participate in the Terry Fox Run. Historically, we have been one of the highest fundraising schools (based on per-student calculations) in the province.
On November 17th, CMJH is proud to wear moccasins! We are standing together worldwide, while recognizing our individuality and diversity! #ROCKYOURMOCS #cmjhsunitedinourdiversity
In the weeks leading up to Christmas break, our Leadership classes run events to raise food and funds for local charities. The Hockey for Hunger program has successfully raised several hundred food items for our local food banks.
Crowther Memorial also takes part in Pink Shirt Day, to show our support in promoting safe and caring schools, that are free from bullying.
